To know Mrs Dorothy was to know one of the sweetest ladies around. She was always so kind to everyone and was always there with a helping hand, a heartfelt smile, and would pray for everyone in need. She never failed to say she loved us when we would see her. We were blessed to have her working beside us. She was a very hard worker. Even through her sickness she would come to the store and made her presence known by helping when she could. Telling her no was never an option! She will be missed by many. She put up a good fight but the lord had other plans for her. May she rest in peace! Please keep her family in your prayers as they will need them now and in upcoming days.

TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services for Dorothy Elizabeth Thrasher Blood, 56, will be held at 200 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Pine Prairie, with burial to follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery in Turkey Creek. Father Casey Dugas will officiate. Visitation will be held
