Tulsa is celebrating the Route 66 Centennial with a historic, record-breaking event: the Route 66 Capital Cruise. Thousands of classic vehicles will attempt to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the largest classic car parade in history.
The main car parade and associated festival activities feature specific events, locations, and timings:
When: Saturday, May 30, 2026. Cars roll out at 8:00 AM.
The Route: The parade begins at Tulsa Expo Square, travels north on Yale Avenue, and heads west along historic 11th Street (Route 66) from 11th & Yale to 11th & Denver.
Finish Line Festival & Viewing: Spectators can view the parade and enjoy 16 designated Cruise Party Zones, food trucks, and a finish-line festival presented by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
University of Tulsa Party Zone: Catch live music, lawn games, food trucks, and a Kid Market on Chapman Commons from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Event Festivities & Tailgates
Capital Cruise Expo: Thursday, May 28 (2:00 PM–8:00 PM) and Friday, May 29 (10:00 AM–8:00 PM) at Expo Square. Includes driver check-in, vendor activations, and community fun.
Capital Cruise Tailgate: Friday, May 29 (4:00 PM–8:00 PM) at Expo Square. Features food, live music, and family-friendly activities.
