**A Bittersweet Goodbye to Truxton Corner Station**
After 3 years—and many sleepless nights—of pouring our hearts into making Truxton Corner Station what we dreamed it could be, we’ve officially passed the torch. What started as a vision for a small-town gas station that offered more than just fuel—fresh food, baked goods, and simple essentials—quickly became something the town embraced, and we are endlessly grateful for that.
We acquired the station not just as a business move, but as a way to give back to the Truxton, NY community. We wanted to create a place that felt like it belonged to the town, and thanks to your support, it became just that.
However, as many entrepreneurs know, growth often means making hard decisions. Our other businesses have always been our core focus, and they now demand more of our time and attention. This isn’t a goodbye out of burnout or loss—it’s a transition made from a place of growth and gratitude.
Being an entrepreneur isn’t just about owning businesses—it’s about building them, shaping them, and knowing when it’s time to pass them on. And we’re proud to say that Truxton Corner Station isn’t closing its doors or sitting empty. It’s now in the hands of someone new, ready to take it even further. It will remain closed just as the new owners make it their own.
Our entrepreneurial journey at the station ends here—but a new chapter begins for someone else. Thank you, Truxton, for letting us be part of your daily lives.
With appreciation,
Paul Maher and Bonnie Maher.
