The Chubby Laker will have a tent at the 4th of July Weekend craft show in the mini park in Trout Lake. We’ll have a couple classics and a couple new designs for you to check out. Happy 250th to our country! Don’t let the naysayers tell you it’s anything less than the best country that ever existed.

Thanks to those who stopped by today; BJ and Judy Bernhardt, Pete, Sonya, Barb, Eric, Laken, Sean, Blake, Melissa, Brazen, Goldie, Macon, Gagie and their Mama (Trout Lake Resort). There were a few others that I didn’t get to know their name, and thank you too. I want to give the Buckhorn a special thank you for being such great neighbors, (and customers), Tom’s Tavern (another great neighbor), and the other local TL Businesses and entities that contributed to my operation; Ellis Motorsports, Stockwell Outfitters and Guide Service, Spencer Insurance Agency, Native Steel, BJ’s Lapidary, Trout Lake Township Historical Society, Trout Lake Pride Committee, Trout Lake Fire Department, McGowans, Alicia Sistrunk and Engadine High School. Running a small business with a physical location is a whole other animal in these days of online social engagement. I was lucky enough to meet ya, and I’m not even close to worse off for doing so. I am clearing the shop out tomorrow afternoon and will leave it open while I do so. After which I will shut the doors. Stay tuned, as I’ve mentioned before, for new designed apparel, here on this page and don’t be scared to get ahold of me for any of your own ideas. Until next time, and thank you!

Friday-Saturday May 1st-2nd: Chubby Laker “Everything Must Go” Sale. $5 Designed Tshirts, $10 Hoodies, $3 Blank Tshirts, $7 Blank Hoodies. $7 Hats. Fixtures, etc. will be negotiable. Online sales via FB Store will commence this date, as well. Hope to see you there! This will be the last day in the shop.

Stay tuned for more one of a kind/unique stuff you’re not going to find anywhere else. Everything you see here will be targeted on the UP, Chippewa County or Trout Lake, specifically.

The Chubby Laker will only be selling online effective 1 May 2026. The M-123 shop will not be open. Concentrating on beekeeping and being retired with my wife. Having said that, I will still have the ability to create and will promote new items here, at this FB page as they come. Will still do custom work too, if you’re compelled. Thanks for stopping in; I’ve got to know a lot of you and am better off for doing so. I’ll still be in the area, so im sure we’ll meet again. Keep me in mind if you have projects you need help with.
