Have any of you done a blind tasting with friends, family, or by yourself featuring these 3 Wheated Full/Barrel Proof Bourbons?
All 3 have essentially thr same mash bill. All 3 are roughly the same age. All 3 from Kentucky. All 3 are from almost the same levels of a rickhouse. The water source is a big difference between them...one is on the shelf every day. One is a store pick. And the other is allocated.

By blind tasting, we mean have them in a glass in front of you without the bottles visible. This eliminates all the marketing bs and hype around a certain distillery. No one talks during the tasting as your opinion may influence another's decision on what you are tasting...which means you actually have to use your brain.
After the tasting is complete, then discuss. You might be surprised.
Remember, with Whiskey, its about the journey. It doesn't matter where you start or where you finish. Just enjoy the ride and the people you are with.
