NOTICE: Beginning Tuesday Sept 2, gasoline and diesel will be unavailable for about 1-2 weeks, depending on weather, etc. The Mini Mart and A. Papano's Pizza-Thompsonville will remain open, but it is possible that the drive may be blocked to drive straight through. For updated environmental safety we are undertaking a massive underground project: updating fuel lines, replacing dispenser islands, replacing manhole lids and sumps, and general work around the gas filling operation. PLEASE be careful when driving in and out, and please respect the construction workers performing these jobs. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces!

Door set one installed, door set two installed tomorrow. They might look the same but it’s sure nice not having rust holes in the frames anymore. Salt 🥴. Big thanks to a super team from who always do great work for us.

We are getting new front doors installed this Monday and Tuesday, April 7th and 8th! We tried for the pearly gates, but they're on backorder from Temu. 😂 We will be open for business as usual, customers will just need to enter and exit through the A. Papano's Pizza-Thompsonville door. We were also hoping for a little bit nicer weather, but 🤷‍♂️ what can you do, it's Michigan and WE LOVE IT! Come on Spring!!!

Update on yesterday's post about our break in: subjects were apprehended this morning by Michigan State Police. We want to thank everyone who reached out trying to help. There is never a good resolution for any of these things, but it's great to live in a community that cares about its neighbors. Hopefully some lessons can be taught and some learned and we will continue to participate in the court process to hopefully help these kids realize they're on the wrong path. We also want to give a shout out to Jeff Drobena for coming by quickly to help us board up and secure the premises again. We appreciate all of you!

Holiday Hours: Buddy says, we are here for you this evening until 8p.m. and on Christmas day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those last minute forgotten things. (Remember to buy your batteries today for those kid toys!) And don't forget how long it takes to make the Christmas ham, or you'll be like us, eating it at 11 p.m. last night.

Weather alert: We regret having to do it, but we are trying to balance the needs of our customers with safety concerns, so tonight we will be closing at 8 p.m. If you need anything for the evening, please keep this in mind. It is always a good idea to keep your car and sleds filled up in conditions like this. ☃️

Papano's will be closing at 7 p.m. Please be safe and warm and stay off the roads if you don't need to get out and about.

Community. We, the Bruce family (and everyone who works with us), are blessed to live and work in a very caring and generous community. I could write chapters about the kindnesses I've witnessed over the years. We genuinely appreciate your continued business, support, and kind words which enable us to give back, thank YOU! Something to think about: years ago I learned from a friend who works in non-profit that while larger donations are important to their work, small donations make the biggest difference for them. While these are uncertain times, even if you can spare $5 please consider making a donation to an organization providing relief today.
