2011 Revana Cabernet Sauvignon- Great for aging and gifting!

Dr. Revana’s fascination with Bordeaux’s first growths inspired him to establish his own vineyard in Napa Valley and focus on producing Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines. The Revana Estate is a meticulously farmed nine-acre parcel planted in 1998 from virgin ground. Framed by the Mayacamas and Vaca Mountains, this northern part of Napa is the narrowest stretch of the valley. The Estate vineyard is located on the valley floor in the heart of the St. Helena AVA, where deep, well-drained alluvial soils pair with warm days and cool nights, providing optimum conditions for growing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Under the guidance of Thomas Rivers Brown as Winemaker, the primary focus is on elevating the potential of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Napa Valley.

Tasting Notes: The nose has expressive dark fruits, dried blueberry, dark chocolate, and vanilla. On the palate, there are notes of velvety raspberry, blackberry, mouthwatering mid palate with hints of warm baking spices, soft tannins, and a lush finish. This wine is great for aging!
