If you’re a local maker looking to keep your sales momentum going after market season ends, we’d love to see what you make.

We’re especially interested in goods that bring something different to Main Street. We’re mindful of what our neighboring shops already carry and want to complement what’s here. That variety keeps our Main Street interesting and gives people more reasons to explore and shop local.

Hoodie season is calling, and we’ve got new hoodies from the Hoffa Foundation, plus coffee that supports their work helping people fight addiction. Sauces and spices for your next pot of chili, fresh spooky-season tees, and a squish restock—with more coming next week.

Add in handcrafted goods from our makers, and there’s plenty to stop in and browse.

🚨FUN FACT, SYKESVILLE!! Turns out River & Rail has kinda been here before. 👀

Back in 1892, our/ BotaniGal building was home to E.M. Mellor & Son — one of the largest shops in the area.

Groceries. Clothing. Household goods. Gifts. A little bit of everything.

Fast forward more than 130 years…

Local goods. Snacks. Toys. Gifts. And still… a little bit of everything.

Same building.
Same Main Street.
Same idea — a place filled with good stuff for the people who live here.

We honestly had no idea when we opened River & Rail just how full-circle this place really was.

Pretty cool, Sykesville. ❤️
