The Maryland Department of Natural Resources & Maryland Park Service are hosting an incredible event to get your kids fishing! Registration starts at 8:00am, and some equipment will be available for loan! We'll be there to assist in any way that we can, and we hope to see you there!

Happy Monday!

We had a fisherman in the store over the weekend that has fished the Lake for decades. He was talking about the Musky that Johnny had on the wall at the Bait House. He said he thought it was caught over at the cliffs by Glendale Bridge. He was 100% confident there are still monster Musky's in the lake :). We all know the Deep Creek Lake chatter about musky's has been going on forever but we were wondering if anyone had any intel on Johnny's Bait Shop Musky. Who caught it? When was it caught? Was it actually caught at the Glendale Cliffs? Did anyone ever get pictures of it?

The picture attached is not the Musky that was on Johnny's wall it is just an example.

What a week! Thats a wrap on Large and Medium Shiners. Still have a few dozen fatheads.
