Happy New Year! We are ringing in the New Year with some exciting news!
The Kelly Lake Kwik Stop is partnering with Mt. LeBett Cattle Company! Mt. LeBett Cattle Company is owned and operated by first generation farmers, the Pendl family. (Bradon & Michelle (Ele) lived here at Kelly Lake until a few years ago when they decided to venture into the cattle business).
They produce delicious USDA-certified grass fed beef on the “Mt LeBett Ski Hill” property, (some of you are old enough to remember when Mt. LeBett was a ski-hill back in the day) The property has been in the family since 1965 when Bradon’s grandparents purchased the property.
..and the most important thing about the Mt. LeBett Cattle Company is that their cattle never receive grain, only pasture and hay that they produce as stewards of the land. High quality feed creates high quality beef!
Did you notice above the USDA certified grass fed? YES, that is correct! The Pendl family went through the process of getting their farm USDA certified! Not all grass fed beef is USDA certified!
We are rolling this out slowing--(so we don't overwhelm the Pendl's) but we plan to carry the following products:
Lean Ground Beef - 1 lb sleeves (oh and its sooo good with little to no grease)
Beef Patties - Four 1/4 pound per pack -- Awesome when grilled
NY Strips 8 oz -- Mouth watering no doubt (2pk)
Tenderlions 8 oz -- Just absolutely scrumptious (2pk)
Sirloins 14 oz - --Succulent, juicy, tender and flavorful (2 pk)
Ribeyes 14 oz -- Absolutely heavenly (2pk)

Chuck Roasts 3lbs
Rolled Rump Roast 4 lbs
