It didnt entirely dawn on me until now, that this weekend marks our 7 year anniversary at B&Gs Spot .Wow...Im truly blown away.We started off inside of the Sunbury Market House ,and then took occupancy right next door at 438 Market St. Sunbury in April of 2022.So much time has passed.I was encouraged by my partner George to begin this endeavor. Truth is,not long before this time period I was in terrible physical shape. When we opened our first stand i came to work with a back brace on to seperate my vertebraes a little and a cane.Little did I realize how much God was truly beginning a good work in me.I dont regret a single thing that has happened to me in my life,if every moment were to be counted,it would be worth more than its weight in gold.If you ever question me about God,Im likely going to witness to you and rattle off events that had happened to me up until the point B&Gs opened.I cant stress enough how experience is our best teacher. Now I can share pray and be of help to my community in a positive way.A way that ministries to me in return. It doesnt get any better than this.Do you know I tried to sign onto disability benefits at one time?Yes,my doctor at the time had refused to sign off on disability benefits. She told me I was not disabled and so therefore after George and I talked he said, lets do Empanadas at the market.George passed away in 2024 as you all know,so its been me on the weekends. My son comes to help prep and clean during the week, which im so thankful forπ.Please consider stopping in to chat and grab a bite to eat this Friday as "we" open at 7a.m.We are small place, but we are mighty, only at B&Gs Spot where its about more than just the food β€οΈβπ₯
