It’s been a slow couple of days — only two visitors yesterday and none today — which has been a bit discouraging as I was hoping for more activity.

Well 21 days later..... sad sad day, only 2 customers from 10am to 7:16pm.

I am going to get a certificate of occupancy (CO) and try AM coffee & donuts, and 2 sit Down tables, as there is no AM breakfast,

I already opened a DoorDash account in Indianapolis, in the event coffee & donuts, don't work.

Your guys feedback would be great on this.

Wanted to say Hi to everyone... someone came in today and ask me how much has the dollar general effected you, so I did the math... from the day dollar general opened

Total average loss: 33.9%

So overall, I'm down about one-third of the daily sales since Dollar General opened, hoping for the best and seeing what the future holds

So what would everyone thing of filling the hours?? open 4PM and close at 8am? or something?

How is everyone this September!!!! I wanted your feedback on something.... Creditcards, I do accept them but the cost for them vs volume is not there.... so I want your feedback on this

1) Leave it the way it is
2) Min of $5.00 for card use
3) $0.50 no matter the amount
4) Cash Only

Please let me know your 2 cents and thoughts.

Wanted to say HI! to everyone, I will be closed 2025.07.15 in the AM have to run to Indianapolis for medical appointments, so when I get back i would say about 5:00PM anyone who stops by mentation this post and get $1.00 fountain drinks on the 2025.07.15 and 2025.07.16

Just to PS to everyone there is someone in town who is doing their best to try to get this store shutdown by continuing to call the Health Department, but it has failed, as the Health Department passes this store every time!!!

Thank you all for the support I will now be carrying Ice cream, bags of ice, and also able to fill coolers of ice, also popsicles, gallons of milk. NOTE: Every bag of ice I sell I will donate $0.50 to the hope center

UPDATE: Chronicle Tribune

I may not be carrying the "Chronicle Tribune" any more, for selling (1) paper in February after my profit I owe them $11.10 so (1) paper cost me $11.10 to sell for them, The paper is $4.00, I get billed $3.70, thus a profit of $0.30 a paper, I am waiting for Heather to call me back to figure this out, but per them I owe $292.30 for Feb/March for a total of (11) papers sold, if anyone would like to see an invoice, I am fully transparent, if Heather can't get this worked out then I will no longer carry the "Chronicle Tribune"

My 2 cents, it's things like this are is what's making newspapers to fail, (11) papers sold I should owe (11 x $3.70 = $40.70) not $292.30 sorry for the few "Chronicle Tribune" readers who come by but 7x the rate of face value again if Heather can't get this worked out then I will no longer carry the "Chronicle Tribune" sorry for the few readers I have had.
