Today, our hearts are heavy as we learn of the tragic officer-involved shooting in neighboring Carroll County that resulted in the loss of life.

We ask our community to join us in praying for the family and loved ones who are grieving this loss. We also lift up the law enforcement officers, first responders, and all those affected by this difficult situation.

In times like these, we are reminded of the words of Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

May God bring comfort to those who mourn, wisdom to those seeking answers, and strength to those who serve and protect our communities.
