Melissa Buck has been a proud member of the Stinnett Fire Department for 7 years, bringing not only her dedication to service but also a sharp sense of humor that keeps the team smiling even during the most challenging calls.
She originally joined the department with a mix of curiosity, humor, and a dash of self-awareness about her “fire skills” in the kitchen. While her initial reasons may have included escaping weekend laundry and mastering a fire truck hose, Melissa’s passion for helping others and being part of a team quickly became her driving force.
Outside of firefighting, Melissa wears many hats and proudly embraces the title of “Jack of All Trades.” Whether it’s tackling a DIY project, managing multiple responsibilities, or picking up new skills on the fly, Melissa brings versatility and determination to everything she does.
When she’s not at the station or on a call, Melissa can often be found juggling her many hobbies—which she describes as being as endless as her Netflix queue. From attempting to master indoor gardening to spontaneously signing up for 5K runs, she embodies the spirit of a true multitasker.
Melissa is also a proud wife and mom to two amazing sons, and she balances her roles as a firefighter, mom, wife, and all-around problem-solver with impressive finesse. Her love for serving her community, paired with her lighthearted approach to life, makes her an invaluable member of the Stinnett Fire Department.
Whether she’s handling a fire hose, swapping stories with her team, troubleshooting a tricky project, or trying to keep her houseplants alive, Melissa brings laughter, dedication, and heart to everything she does.
