Trick-or-treat inside the store at the Southside BP, Halloween day (10-31-22) between 5pm and 8pm! While supplies last. Happy Halloween!

Responsibilities of this job include:

- Operating cash register

- Polite/Positive Customer Service

- Accepting payment and dispensing correct change to customers

- Basic/occasional stocking of items

- Basic paperwork/reports

- Preparing coffee

- Cleaning/sweeping/mopping

- Gathering up filled garbage bags from indoor/outdoor cans and disposing of them into the dumpster

- Limited shoveling snow in wintertime

Required Work Experience:

- None (although, cashiering experience is a bonus and applicants must be 18 years or older)

Skills:

- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication)

- Ability to maintain great Customer Service skills (polite/positive attitude)

- Ability to lift large/full bags of garbage

- Ability to stand for long periods of time (sitting is permitted when there are no customers)

- Common Sense

- Ability to defuse/de-escalate with potential upset customers

Education:

- No education requirements (although a High School or equivalent is a bonus)

Perks:

- Laid-back environment with friendly co-workers

- Can listen to family-appropriate music of your choice

- Can bring homework/books/hobbies/misc things to do during downtime

- Can have/use cellphone during work (as long as it is kept on Silent and only when there are no customers in the store)

- Super flexible scheduling

Attention customers: Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 16th, 2020), our fuel pumps will be unavailable for most of the day. We are having new pumps installed. The approximate time of pump closure will be from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The store will still remain open to sell non-fuel products.
