Busch Apple is at Taps and Tackle Co.!

If you haven’t heard, we are expanding! A new and exciting part of our expansion is going to be cased and canned beer. We will carry all the essential domestics and of course continue to curate all of the local and specialty beers that our customers love so much!

We do have a small selection of Busch Apple, at the moment, ready for purchase. Please be patient with us as we look forward to stocking our cooler in June.

We're thrilled to announce that Taps and Tackle Co. is expanding! By taking over our adjacent space, we're creating an even bigger and better experience for you. We have been so badly needing the space and the time is finally right! Get ready for more of your favorite custom musky and walleye lures, enhanced displays, and the same great bar atmosphere you love—all under one roof.

Heck of a time with the MinnDak boys last week!

Jon Lehman and Sam Lehman stopped by our store last week for a night of musky fishing. We had a fantastic time on the water landing six fish and losing another nice one at the boat! We think these boys might be addicted now! Thanks for stopping by guys and looking forward to the next musky adventure together.

Naturally, 5/6 of our fish came on the Conklyn Lures pedigree 😉

The rain and wind sure didn’t bother the crappies last week!

Bob and Tim persevered through the rain and absolutely smashed crappies all morning! Bob landed his PB crappie at 15.5” and numerous 13-14 inchers . We released three or four for every one we kept. We had such a good time, Bob even brought his friend Benjamin for a quick morning the very next day. We focused on walleyes after getting a nice meal of crappies.

Great two days of fishing gentlemen!

Southern Opener Success

We had a good opener with one small musky hitting the net Saturday. We had our chances with bigger fish that didn’t stay hooked and a few follows. We found fish in current and it seemed like they wanted it slow while it was overcast. Overall, we were very pleased!

Southern Opener is almost here!

Tough to believe that musky season is upon us again. Water temperature on the WI river is looking like it is going to be a great pre-spawn opener with a chance at some really healthy fish. We have put together a collection of our best southern opener musky baits so you can have the best chance at putting a fish in the boat!
