It’s time for a North Stamford neighborhood wine dinner! Together with our new Long Ridge neighbor, Lenny’s Seafood & Steakhouse, we’re hosting a special wine and Armagnac dinner this coming Thursday, August 7th, starting at 7:00pm. Our host will be none other than Gaspard Lesgourgues, winemaker and distiller of Chateau Haut Selve in Bordeaux and Chateau de Laubade in Bas Armagnac. 🍷🥃This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to “meet the maker” and break bread with folks who love wine and spirits as much as we do! The winery’s Export Manager, Elisa Musso, will be on hand to guide us through delightful whites, reds, and sparkling wines from Piedmont and Tuscany. These are benchmark bottlings from beverage master and epicure, Giorgio Rivetti. We hope you’ll join us on March 12th! 🍷🤩🍝

Rare opportunity! We’ll have Tancredi Biondi-Santi in-store this Thursday, February 20th, 3:00-6:00pm, presenting his family’s Maremma project: Castello di Montepo. The Biondi-Santi name has been synonymous with quality Brunello di Montalcino since the 19th century, with many wine historians crediting Ferruccio Biondi-Santi as the first to use Brunello on his wine labels. Fast forward to 2020…the last Biondi-Santi family member (Jacopo) sold his shares of the winery to French luxury goods firm EPI. The Biondi-Santis have shifted their focus to Tuscany’s rugged region coastal, the Maremma. Castello di Montepo is a 45yr old estate planted to the proprietary BBS11 clone of Sangiovese Grosso - the very clone responsible for the family’s fame and fortune in Brunello! Come on down and taste with a living legend!
