Earlier this week this criminal bought $900 worth of product from Fowler's with fake credit card info. He was arrested end of July for doing the same thing to Kinney Drugs in Lyons for $7619.25. His name is Jerome Dawayne Hightower Jr. If you google his name you can see the info on his arrests. I am sure there are many more we don't know about. Retailers beware-never ever punch credit card info into your terminal. If a customer doesn't have a card that works and tells you he has to punch it in it is usually stolen info. Especially if it's a lot of money. Of course he was let go on the felony charges at Kinney with an appearance ticket. Office Kyle Daily is doing our investigation and was very helpful. There is a another warrant for his arrest and I am pressing charges. Unfortunately I know I will never get my money back. If he was in jail where he belongs instead of out on the streets taking advantage and stealing from small businesses this would not have happened.
