On September 27th the WMRA and NWFM are co-sanctioning the 1st Annual Midget Nationals at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval. To raise funds and help us increase the purse, we are selling laps…all proceeds will go directly to the payout. To date, we have sold 22 out of the 35 laps. Help us achieve our goal. We need all of our supporters to spread the word about this. If interested, please call or text Rob Lindsey at (425) 308-1162. When calling or texting, please let us know if you have someone special that you would like to dedicate your lap(s) to.

On Saturday, September 27th WMRA and NWFM are co-sanctioning the 1st Annual Midget Nationals at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval. We are looking at multiple ways to increase the purse for this event and one of the ways is doing a lap sponsorship. We are selling 35 laps at $100 ea. with all proceeds going to the purse. If you’re willing and able, please text Rob Lindsey at (425) 308-1162 or PM him. You will have the opportunity to dedicate/tribute your lap to someone special. As you can see, we are off to a great start. Like we said at the driver’s meeting on Saturday, it takes an army to put on a special event with larger payouts, so everyone’s help is much appreciated.

Congratulations Nik Larson for taking home the SpeedMart Inc. Hard charger Award last night. Not only did he take home the award, but he did it in grand fashion. After starting 8th, he quickly moved through the field and was leading the race pretty early on. Unfortunately, moving through traffic, he spun going into turn 1 and had to restart in the rear. He again drove through the field and ended up a very respectable 2nd. Great job Nik!

Congrats to Garrett McLees for the win last night. Also want to thank the entire Shefchik family as well as Rich and Todd Beal for attending our Memorial race honoring Ed Shefchik and Harold Beal last night. You all made it very special.

A couple of awards that were handed out late last night. The Triple X Hard Luck award went to Tony Berry. Unfortunately, this team cannot catch a break. Let’s cross our fingers the fix is an easy one. Also, congrats to Gary Gustafson for winning the A&J Lucky Draw award. It was great seeing Gary out in his new National car.
