We’re incredibly grateful to have two people who know Valenty’s inside and out. Between them, Julie Overton Newland and Joanna Kowalski bring nearly 40 years of experience at Valenty’s Lounge — and a deep love for this place and the community that fills it.

We’re proud to officially announce Julie and Joanna as the General Managers of Valenty’s Lounge moving forward.

The time has come to say goodbye to Pasadena Liquor & Fine Wines. What started as a small neighborhood liquor store grew into a place filled with familiar faces, friendships, celebrations, and countless memories.

We are endlessly grateful to our customers, our community, and everyone who supported us through nearly five decades. While this chapter is closing, the story is not over. Valenty's Lounge remains open, and we can’t wait to continue welcoming you there. The lounge will have a special Sunday opening for the Super Bowl next week, and we’d love to see you and celebrate together.

On behalf of the entire Valenty Family, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 48 amazing years. And in the words of Jimmy V: Salute! Cent'anni!

After almost 3 months of offsite storage we are happy to report we have all available product back in the store and we are open!

We wanted to send a huge shout out to Rays Baseball for their unwavering support of our small business. When we needed a large climate controlled space to store wine while we remediated the store, they stepped up offered storage to us. Yesterday their team delivered the remaining product back to the store, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

To Ross Bulbolz and the St Petersburg Catholic High community, thank you for the quick storage option and the ability to come and go as we needed to pull product. The sense of community and help provided by the school is heartwarming and we’re forever grateful.

Shout out to Julie Overton Newland, Keith Overton and OCC Road House, Shawn Byrne, and the St. Petersburg Association of Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 747 for helping pull the product, arranging onsite storage for all the booze and being wonderful partners in helping us be able to do what we needed to do at the worst time for everyone in the community.

Thank you to all our freinds and family for the help loading and unloading thousands of boxes of product over the last 3 months. The outpouring of love and support for our family business had been unmatched.

Does anyone have a lead on roughly 4000 sqft of climate controlled space available in St. Pete? Looking to use it for maybe 3-6 months 🤞🏻

Anyone out there have a suggestion for onsite storage besides PODS? It’s doesn’t have to be climate controlled. Just something we can lock and keep in the parking lot at the store.
