AD | Allocation EXTENSION closes tonight at 11pm PST.

Ten years from vintage, this 2016 Vincent Christopher Walala Vineyard Pinot Noir is coming straight from the Hestan library. Walala sits out on the Sonoma Coast, and this was only the second vintage of the Vincent Christopher project. Mature Sonoma Coast Pinot with real bottle age and provenance like this does not come around very often.

Comment “2016” below to join the allocation list before it closes Friday at 9PM Pacific. You’re only charged if you’re allocated a bottle.

Already bought from one of my summer drops? This adds to the case you’re already building. Complete a full 12-bottle case and shipping is just $1. Everything ships together once temperatures are safe for transit.

The Every Time W**e List: W**eries I recommend without hesitation, every time 🍷

Part 2 of 3 from Bedrock in full harvest action!

This is the kind of access I wanted this series to be built around.

Morgan Twain-Peterson MW walking us through a working cellar in the middle of harvest, tasting rosé straight from tank, watching pump overs, and explaining what’s happening in real time while the whole place is moving around us.

This isn’t a polished tasting-room version of w**e. It’s the actual work. The decisions. The timing. The people. And getting to see it through the eyes of someone with Morgan’s level of knowledge makes the finished w**es make even more sense.

This whole visit was basically a masterclass, and I’m trying to leave as much of that knowledge in these videos as I can.

If you haven’t watched Part 1 yet, go back and start there. It sets up the whole tour.

And stay through the end of this one, because Joel Peterson says something to me that completely caught me off guard.

Part 3 is coming next!! Follow for more 🍷

I’ve wanted to share this with you for a long time.

The Every Time W**e List.

These aren’t just w**es I like. These are w**eries that have made me look good over and over again. I trust them because they work. Every time. If a w**ery makes this list, you can trust them too.

And we’re starting with Bedrock.

Morgan Twain-Peterson, Master of W**e, let me come through during harvest and basically just walk the cellar with him while everything was happening. No script. No polished version. Just Morgan, in the middle of the madness, talking through the team, the cellar, the science, and what’s actually going on.

The access here is insane. The knowledge is insane. This is the kind of w**e content I’ve always wanted to make.

Part 1 of 3.

If you drink w**e, slow down and give this a watch. 🍷

Last night’s very serious assignment:

Puligny-Montrachet vs. Chassagne-Montrachet

Paul Pernot Folatières 1er Cru 2024
Benoit Ente Puligny-Montrachet 2024
Benoit Ente Chassagne-Montrachet 2024
Caroline Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chaumées 2023

One goal: pick the w**e you liked most.

We failed. All the w**es were insane.

So, unfortunately, more research will be required.

Benoit Ente continues to blow my mind with the excellence coming from that cellar. Cheers to you Benoit Ente

W**e is a very demanding profession.
