A Toast to the Ones Who Shape Us

Mother’s Day always brings me back to my mom, who was vibrant, smart, beautiful, and full of moxie.

Years ago, we were traveling through France together. I remember watching her in conversation with a local, completely at ease. When she came back to the table, I asked if she was fluent in French. She smiled and said, “Of course I am… you just didn’t ask.” That stayed with me.

Since then, I’ve tried to move through life with more curiosity, asking questions, slowing down, and really getting to know people. Everyone has their own story and something meaningful to share.

That perspective feels even more special to me now as a mom. I feel incredibly lucky to have Bella, Cooper, and Alex by my side (and Fred, too). They each bring something crazy unique to my life, and I fully embrace and appreciate it all, both the big moments and the quiet, everyday ones.

Today, this Sunday, and every day, we’re celebrating not just moms, but all of the people who step into that role in their own way. The ones who show up, care deeply, and somehow do it all, often running on love, instinct, and just a touch of sparkle. In honor of celebrating, I know that I personally will be starting with this...........

The Generations Mimosa

You had me at mimosa!

The Generations Mimosa

Ingredients
1 oz Limoncello di Sonoma
2 oz fresh orange juice or blood orange juice
3 oz chilled Champagne or sparkling wine (brut)
Optional: splash of elderflower liqueur for a floral note

Gently pour the Limoncello and citrus into a chilled flute, top with sparkling wine, and give it a soft stir. Garnish with a fresh orange slice or edible flower.
A fresh, elegant twist on a classic, made for celebrating.

Celebrate in style with our limited 2026 Barrel Edition Sonoma Julep — a pre-bottled cocktail crafted with brandy & fresh mint, made just for Derby weekend.

Our head distiller, Fred, turned Kentucky Derby fashionista for the season has whipped up this special release — because every great cocktail deserves a great hat… just like our “I drank today baseball caps.” Swing by the Tasting Room to grab your bottle and bring the Derby home. Big hats, fast horses, and even better cocktails await.

Fun fact: The Mint Julep became the official drink of the Kentucky Derby in 1939, and today more than 120,000 juleps are enjoyed during Derby weekend, using nearly 1,000 pounds of fresh mint for these iconic cocktails. Thank you, Mother Earth.

Beautiful Tuesday, beautiful weather, and even better flavors. ☀️🌿🍒
Our new Cherry Bitters and Smoked Sage Bitters are here and people are already getting creative behind the bar. These small bottles pack big flavor and are the perfect way to elevate your cocktails at home. Here’s one cocktail idea to kickstart your week!

Smoked Sage Brandy Smash 🍑🌿🥃
• 2 oz Prohibition Spirits Grand Reserve Brandy
• 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey + warm water)
• 2 dashes Smoked Sage Bitters
• 2–3 fresh sage leaves
• Garnish: lemon wheel or sage sprig

Lightly muddle the sage and honey syrup in a shaker. Add brandy, lemon juice, smoked sage bitters, and ice. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a sage sprig for an aromatic finish.

Or add Cherry Bitters to a margarita, Manhattan, or even a sparkling spritz for a pop of rich fruit flavor. Swing by, taste them for yourself, and start experimenting — the cocktail possibilities are endless. ✨🍸
