Located in Somerville at the peak of Winter Hill, PROOF is your new spot for great beer, wine and liquor, as well as a comfortable space for neighborhood special events. Yes, we’ll carry your “go to” six pack or comfy bottle of red wine, yet once you stop in and see the store you’ll soon realize we are so much more.

We encourage browsing and we want you to ask questions, as we believe a liquor store doesn’t have to be an in-and-out experience. Relax, walk around and check out our craft beer wall, our small batch whisky section, or have a taste of one of our many hand selected wines from around the world. We are confident PROOF will have what you’re looking for, whether you know it yet or not.

It’s not in us to be average. We will continually change up our inventory and host unique tasting events… let’s just say you’ll definitely enjoy having us as your neighbor.
