We layered simmered blueberries between our creamy signature icebox pie and topped it with even more blueberries and a few of Browder’s last strawberries 🍓🫐 A sweet little tribute to Memorial Day weekend and summertime in Smithfield.

Darden’s OUTPOST has restocked a few of your favorites and brought you something NEW! 🍲🔥

We stewed up a fresh batch of our homemade Chicken & Dumplings and Brunswick Stew. If you’re looking for a quick, easy, and comfortingly delicious meal this week, stop by and grab a quart for the fridge (or dinner tonight 😉).

And just in time for the long weekend, we also made a fresh batch of our homemade Darden’s Country Sausage 🐖✨

BUT… we decided to spice things up a little. 🌶️
We mixed up a special batch of HOT Sausage and we’re giving it a test run. If you like a little heat with your country flavor, come by the side of Rt. 10 and give it a try. We’d LOVE to know what you think!

This week Dinner @ the Darden’s is bringing you another true family favorite — and no, we are not actually Italian 😂🇮🇹❤️ — Chicken Parmesan!

Lilly and I spent yesterday pounding, breading, and baking tender, juicy chicken breasts, topped with seasoned panko and a rich blend of creamy cheeses, then finished with savory marinara for the perfect comfort meal. 🍗🧀🍅

We packed them up in hearty portions so dinner is ready for you as we head into Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸☀️

We had it for dinner last night and all I can say is… mmm, mmm, YEAH! 😋

It’s Friday at Darden’s OUTPOST and while we might not have Pie Day this week, we do have something truly special to honor Mother’s Day. 💐🍰

I prepared a few of my Mom’s delicious “Yaya” Cheesecakes — the same rich, creamy cheesecake that has been part of our family’s celebrations for years. From birthdays and holidays to all of life’s meaningful moments, this cheesecake has always meant LOVE to our family. ❤️

This is truly an honor for me to share with you all. Knowing that something so personal and cherished might become part of your Mother’s Day table or special family memories means more than I can say.

We’ll have cheesecake by the slice and a few whole cheesecakes available for $50 while they last.

Made with our local, handcrafted, salt-cured Country Ham, we layered in Swiss and June “Hoop” Cheese folded over farm fresh eggs with a crustless “crust” within. Rich, savory, simple Southern comfort — just the kind of homemade flavor Mom deserves. 💕🐖🧀

It’s Friday Pie Day at Darden’s OUTPOST 🍓🥨 and we’ve got a true seasonal showstopper!

Strawberry & Cream Pretzel Pie is in the case this week — made with 6 quarts of hand-picked Browder’s strawberries 🍓 folded into our signature Icebox filling and layered over a salty-sweet pretzel crust. It’s creamy, fruity, and tastes like spring 🌸☀️

This one took me BACK… remember the 🍓 Strawberry Shortcake dolls and that sweet scent? This pie has that same magical, memory-making vibe. Do you remember?💕

And here’s something we love sharing — we participated in Browder’s CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program 🤝
That means we invested in the crop months ago, helping cover early farming costs like plants, fertilizer, and irrigation. In return, we get to come pick fresh, local strawberries at harvest. It’s a win-win — farmers get support when they need it most, and we get the freshest ingredients possible ❤️

(And yes… if you do the “girl math,” because we made the investment that cleared our books months ago, these strawberries were basically FREE 😄)

Dinner @ the Darden’s is bringing a true family favorite to the table this week 🍽️

We’re serving up Pork Tenderloins with homemade mushroom onion gravy over fluffy white rice 🤎🍄

We seared lean pork medallions with a simple blend of salt, black pepper, and garlic powder… then let them simmer low and slow in caramelized onions and mushrooms until they’re melt-in-your-mouth tender. This is hearty, down-home comfort food at its finest.

We had it for dinner last night and let’s just say… someone may have gone back for seconds 😏

👉 Come by before they’re gone — last week’s lasagna didn’t even make it two days!

🍝🇮🇹 Dinner @ the Darden’s is BACK with a crowd favorite! 🇮🇹🍝

After lots of requests, our homemade Lasagna has made its return to the case! 🙌 This Italian masterpiece is layered with rich meat sauce, creamy cheeses, and all the comfort you’ve been craving. We had it for dinner last night and our son, Chase (17) said, “Wow, this is really, really good!” You too can please your family. We’ve done the planning, purchasing AND cooking for you.
