Howdy Friends!

We finally had a chance to sit down and put together a post of our General Store hours as well as hours and menu for A Brooklyn Pizzeria and get everyone the current Smokin' Bone BBQ weekend specials menu!

We will try to keep these hours moving forward and if we can find more staff we might add back some hours for the pizzeria if we are able!

Please let us know if y'all want us to post the menu again for A Brooklyn Pizzeria and we will do that so everyone can save it to phones or print it out for the office or home!

Also, don't forget, we are running our Smokin' Bone BBQ special menu every weekend through Thanksgiving so come get some Brisket and Ribs and yummy BBQ sides!

Good morning Smith Valley!

It is shaping up to be another beautiful day here in our neighborhood and this evening our Smith Valley School's graduation and promotion ceremonies begin at 6 pm with doors opening at 5 pm.

To celebrate this occasion, Buckboard Station will be closing at 5 pm to allow us all to attend the ceremonies and support our graduating class of 2026 and cheer on our friend, coworker and graduating senior class member, Makailyn Draucker, along with all the other members of the graduating and promoting classes!

As we will be closing at 5 pm, all food service operations will be closing at 4 pm to allow sufficient time to clean the store and get ready for tomorrow's service!

And don't forget we have our weekly farmer's market here at Buckboard Station today from 10 am until 2 pm so come by and check out today's stands!

Thanks for all of your support and as always we look forward to seeing everyone in our community every day!

Hey Smith Valley!

We wanted to let everyone know the new schedule for A Brooklyn Pizzeria!

We have reviewed our numbers for the old schedule as well as listened to what our community wants so we want to provide it!

We have had the pizza kitchen closed on Mondays since we launched the Pizzeria, and that will continue, but for some reason Tuesday's and Wednesday's have been very slow since we launched and we have decided, in order not to produce more food waste than necessary, to keep the pizzeria closed Monday through Wednesday.

Thursday Pizzeria service hours will now be 12 noon until 5 pm lunch/early dinner service, and Friday through Sunday service hours will remain the same with service on Friday and Saturday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.

We hope everyone understands and we will of course continue to take everyone's suggestions and continue to improve service and the General Store at Buckboard Station!

Good afternoon Smith Valley!

We wanted to give everyone an update on some store hour changes for this week and menu hours for the upcoming weeks of the summer.

Since we lost the longest tenured employee in this building, our rock, our beloved Sue Wood, last year, we, the owners, have been at the store 14-16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We've added a pizza kitchen, lost our wonderful grill and then got it back, and have gotten this year's BBQ back on the menu. We have been hard at work and we know most of our community appreciates what we've made Buckboard Station into. A gathering place for quality food. A place to order and take food home to our families. A saloon where our community can have a drink after a long hard day's work.

What this means for us as Buckboard Station owners, is that we have added preparation hours to our plates and, quite honestly, our feet hurt (literally) from being on them every day for the last 10 months, and we need a few days break from preparing breakfast, making donuts and cinnamon rolls, making pizza dough, prepping BBQ for the weekend special, etc, etc.

That said, we are hoping everyone understands that we have thoroughly discussed a change in overall and menu availability hours for this week and the coming weeks.

This Tuesday and Wednesday, store hours will be 10am - 6pm, with lunch service starting at 10:30am. Our Pizzeria will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and we will be resuming our 7am breakfast service Thursday morning.

Also due to our consistent short staffing the Pizzeria schedule will be changing moving forward, with the Pizzeria open Thursdays through Sundays only.

Finally, due to the last few weekend's BBQ special being slow, we will postpone the next BBQ weekend until Father's Day weekend to run the menu for all of the Dad's in our community!

UPDATE:

The owner of the white pickup and Attitude camper was NOT the individual who had the oversight and forgot to take care of payment for fuel. The owner of this rig has been in contact with us and provided his correct purchase information, and we need to apologize to him publicly for any grief this has caused!

Unfortunately, this means that any description of the vehicle that received the 30 gallons of diesel fuel is not available, however, from our conversations with our staff and other customers during that time yesterday, we understand it was a tall, thin individual in his late 50's or early 60's that pumped the 30 gallons and departed without paying.

If anyone has any information with this updated information please let us know!

Good afternoon Smith Valley!

As the busy Memorial Day weekend comes to a close, we have a post about an unfortunate incident that occurred this afternoon and we wanted to give the individual an opportunity to get in touch with us.

At approximately 2:15 this afternoon, during a late lunch rush, a white pickup hauling a black and white Attitude RV pulled into our fuel island, pumped 30 gallons of Diesel fuel, and departed Buckboard Station without paying for the fuel.

If you accidentally forgot to take care of payment for fueling, we understand oversight and we would greatly appreciate you giving us a call here at Buckboard Station and we could take care of payment over the phone.

Good afternoon Smith Valley and our Facebook family!

A quick blast out for everyone...

Though we have not been able to find more staff for the Station yet, we have saddled up and got ourselves up and running to put the Smokin' Bone BBQ brisket and sides on the menu for Memorial Day Weekend!

Our Brisket dishes, mac salad, potato salad and coleslaw will be ready at 11 am Saturday and served all weekend!

Hey Smith Valley family!

Tomorrow, in honor of every mother on Mother's Day, we will be running a little special!

With every pizza order we will be giving away an order of 4 mini cannoli (or cannolicchi.. normally $8 per order) as a sweet dessert treat for our Moms (while supplies last..)!

And they are on the menu now for A Brooklyn Pizzeria!

Good afternoon Smith Valley!

As y'all know we lost the use of our grill just before Valentine's Day this year, which meant a time out for killer burgers and delicious breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches at Buckboard Station.

Having said that, we are so very excited to announce....

BURGERS ARE BACK ON THE MENU!!!!

WE ARE BACK TO GRILLIN' AND WE'RE LOVING IT!

So come get a burger, a breakfast burrito or sandwich, a healthy juice or smoothie or smoothie bowl, a yummy Brooklyn pizza, and hopefully soon, brisket and ribs from Smokin Bone BBQ!
