Good morning Smith Valley!

Is another beautiful day in the Valley and we have some great news and an update that's not perfect news but it's at least some progress.

The great news is after almost two years of new ownership here at Buckboard Station, we have finally returned our ATM to operational status! It has been a long road to get it operational but it's working again! If you need cash, we have an ATM once again!

The update is with regards to our fuel island. We were able to get a technician out yesterday and after his inspection it turns out one of the parts that we replaced last year has already failed and we need to get a warranty replacement processed and when that is installed he will install our new (to Buckboard Station) hose for the Diesel dispenser.

We are working hard to make sure that we can continue to provide our community the services that we are all accustomed to and we will keep everyone updated as we make progress!

Good morning Smith Valley!

What a beautiful day it is in the Valley today!

We have a quick update for everyone to follow up with our last post.

We WILL BE OPEN Sunday, November 1st, after all! We are fortunate to have a great community around us and have had a handful of community members express their concern that we are here to support and provide for everyone in our Valley and they have offered their hands in helping us empty our equipment storage over in Zephyr Cove this weekend so we will not need to close.

Our second update is with regard to our fuel island. As y'all know we have tried to keep our vintage pumps up and running and they have been here in operation since the late 1970's. They provide fuel for all of us as well as great conversations about nostalgia and the way things used to be and in our case still are! However, we have some required maintenance to complete after an inspection that was done on Tuesday and our fuel island is currently closed until that maintenance is complete. We have scheduled a technician to come out from Reno to perform that maintenance on the next possible opening the service company had which is on Wednesday, November 4th. We should have an update after the service is done and will let y'all know when fuel is available again.

We hope everyone understands and that you all know we are working hard to make sure we can continue to provide for our community!

We will keep it community up to date as we get more information!

Just a reminder, we are open today until 4 pm! Breakfast is now being served and lunch service (grill/deli and Brisket) will be served starting at 10:30 until 3!

Good evening Smith Valley and Facebook friends and family!

We wanted to put up a post to let everyone know about two special closures coming up for Buckboard Station.

On Saturday, October 24th, we will be closing at 4 pm (meaning our pizza kitchen will not be opening that day) so we can attend a friend's wedding ceremony and reception.

On Sunday, November 1st, Buckboard Station will be closed all day so our staff can attend to finally emptying an equipment storage unit over in the Tahoe basin of all of our previous juice bar equipment and return it to Buckboard Station prior to winter weather setting upon us and potentially preventing us from getting a moving vehicle over the passes into Lake Tahoe to our storage unit as we move later into the season.

We do understand that this is an inconvenience for everyone, including ourselves, however, this second task is one that we have been putting off since Buckboard Station changed ownership early last year and we need to get it done.

Otherwise, our hours will remain as they have been since our last hours update in mid September.

We're here for our community and hope to see every one of you here at Buckboard Station!

We wanted to let our community know that our Internet service is out this morning, so we cannot receive phone calls for orders, however, we are very much open for food all day with breakfast service until 10:30 am, grill/deli and BBQ service from 10:30 am until 3 pm and the Pizzeria open from 4 pm until we close at 8 pm!

Good morning y'all!

We hope that everyone had a chance to read our post yesterday that let our community know that we are still open, serving from all of our kitchens during the hours in the post.

We have had a few folks ask us to repost the current store and pizzeria hours here on Facebook so they can have it handy, so here you go!

Good afternoon Facebook friends, family and fans!

Over the last few weeks our management and staff have had a number of long time, as well as new, customers come to us and tell us that they have heard through whichever grapevine that we are no longer serving food from any of our menus here at Buckboard Station!

We have also been told by some customers that they have not stopped in over the last month because they heard we are closed for business entirely!

We are not sure where this information is coming from but it is definitely incorrect information!

We are ABSOLUTELY OPEN for business!

As of September 15th, with our Fall/Winter schedule, Buckboard Station General Store hours are Sunday and Monday, 9 am until 5 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, 7 am until 6 pm and Friday and Saturday 7 am until 8 pm!

Buckboard Grill, Deli and Juice eNVy juices and smoothies are still being served Sundays and Mondays from 9:30 am until 4 pm and Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:30 am until 5 pm! (until 4 pm for juices and smoothies.)

Smokin' Bone BBQ is still serving Brisket, Ribs, Hot Links and all the fixings until sold out on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 am until 5 pm through Thanksgiving!!

A Brooklyn Pizzeria is still, and will continue to be, spinning authentic Brooklyn, New York style pizza pies from 12 pm until 5 pm Thursdays, 4-8 pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 am until 4 pm Sundays, and we'll be serving pizza by the slice while supplies last when we can make slice pies!

Please don't be strangers to Buckboard Station because you have heard something about us no longer being open to serve our community food or provide groceries or fuel! We will always let y'all know in person or on our socials if we have different hours or need to temporarily close for whatever reason!

As always, we look forward to seeing everyone here at the Station for years to come!
