Let me share some big news…

After 29 years of running West Street Wines & Spirits here in Simsbury, the time has come for me to pass the corkscrew to someone new. I will be selling the shop, and while I’m excited for what’s next, I can’t help but feel a little sentimental.

What started as a dream in 1996 grew into something far greater—a place where neighbors became friends, where we shared stories over the counter, where we picked the perfect wine for weddings, anniversaries, and Tuesday dinners alike.

To our loyal customers—thank you. Your support, smiles, and friendship made this shop feel less like a business and more like a home. I’ve truly enjoyed being part of your lives and celebrations.

I’ll carry these memories with me always. Here’s to raising a glass to the past, and to all the good things yet to come! 🍷
