Forgive the longer than usual post: A former “corporate guy”, owning a small business presents challenges I continue to learn adapt and grow from. Long days feel different than they used to, sometimes better, sometimes worse. Last night’s unscheduled, impromptu Cut & Light event was one of the good ones. It reminded me how valuable and rewarding being part of two communities (the local and cigar communities) is. It reminded me how invaluable the relationships with my vendors who are partners is and equally all our patrons who in turn have become friends. With no planning you came out in numbers and I’m glad my little spot in the world provides you all a safe comfortable environment. Thanks to RoMa Craft Tobac and our friend Mike Rosales for spending time with us and to all those who came out in support. My appreciation of you all knows no bounds. Thank you - John

A big win for our industry. We advocate NEVER doing business with retailers who are not members of and support PCA. it is our non profit Association that fights for the rights of cigar smokers and retailers daily. As proud members we continue to support the efforts to educate, inform and support retailers keeping premium ci**rs available to all those of legal age.

The FDA has withdrawn the two proposals, meaning the agency does not intend to move forward with either ban at this time. That said, it could reverse course at any point.
