Petite Soif has closed her doors but we’re excited to share with you that the folks behind Plants & Animals, Burien Press, and Moonshot Coffee will be opening a similar concept in the space on Beacon Avenue called Fable.

We have known the team behind Fable for many years and know that they will be a great addition to the neighborhood.

Fable () will be an all-day cafe with similar elements Petite Soif was known for such as natural wine, delicious food, and kind people who are happy to see you. In addition they’ll be bringing specialty coffee, a limited release beer menu with an emphasis on saisons and farmhouse ales, and expanded food menus that change through the day.

Fable will also be continuing to offer a monthly wine club launching in June and will be sharing more information about how to join the club soon.

The space will be closed for a short period for some minor construction and time to get comfortable in the space. Let them know what you’d like to see and taste when they reopen! And just like that…Petite Soif’s doors are now closed. Thank you to everyone for showing up this week and expressing your support, gratitude and well wishes. We’ll miss this community so very much!!

And what can we say about these two angel superstars??? Two of the kindest, most hardworking and earnest human beings-we are so honored to have had Sharon and Carolina work with us these past several months. A toast 🥂 to all of you!!

We’ve been popping a LOT of bottles these past few days and it’s been bittersweet 🙃. Today (Friday) is the last day for full-ish service - stop by if you can! We’ll be open Saturday from 12-5 ish for bottle sales, wine club pick up and some tears 😭 and cheers 🥂. xoxoxo

It’s hard to believe that this our last week of service. The past two years are a bit of a blur!! But here we are. Forward motion can move in multiple directions…
We’re open Tuesday through Friday for as regular service as possible! Saturday we’ll be open for wine sales only, check in for hours.
So if you need to come in for a do-it-yourself stuffed with a chocolate chip cookie 🍪 and potato chips like these cuties, get in here before Saturday! We ❤️ you Beacon Hill!!!

Well friends, we have some sad news. Saturday, May 14th will be the last day of operation for Petite Soif. 

Our wish for Petite Soif was to become part of the neighborhood and community and so we tried to create a space that welcomed curiosity and encouraged folks to try new things. We believe, and hope you do too, that in its short time Petite Soif was true to our vision. We love this space and the incredible community that grew here but the timing of our opening was well, not ideal. We had only been open a couple months when COVID changed our world. We pivoted along with everyone else and had some fun while doing it! While we’ve had some good times it is also true that the experience has been hard in just about every way imaginable. To be honest, 2 ½ years of managing a business during Covid has sapped our energy and we need some time to rest and de-stress. That feeling led us to accept an offer to sell our business. 

There is some good news! The new business moving into the space has a similar concept and is going to be fantastic. The owners are wonderful and will be a great fit for the neighborhood…and you’ll still be able to get your natural wine fix. We’ll be making introductions in the coming days. 

Thank you so much for being part of Petite Soif, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support and kind wishes over the past two years have been a bright spot for us and we are so grateful for that. We’ll be open our regular hours for the next two weeks. Please come see us.
