The usual SBC KDDA derby motor. 11:1 compression, hydraulic roller cam, VORTEC heads with tons of port work. Going in a good friends car so he got a decent discount, and I got extra time to finish it.

IMCA sport mod motor. SPEC motor class. 9:1 compression 🤮, stock unported heads 🤮, regulation spec intake 🤮, eventually it will have the spec 2 barrel carb 🤮. But it has featherweight pistons, 6” rod, balanced rotating assy, solid cam, and the heads got some attention where allowed. Spunky little motor with the solid cam and lightweight parts where I could use them

Today’s breakin: 327 with extreme marine camshaft. Old camel hump heads, new rods and pistons, steel crank, mild port work. A little late in the summer for a boat motor, but it’s finally ready.
