Honestly? That sounds exhausting.

Full disclosure: Last year, we were total novices. We got sucked into the hype, tried to actually compete, and quickly realized what a ridiculous, endless game it really is. This year, busy as per usual actually running our business (and Minimart consumed us last week!), so we’re already way behind in the standings, and we’re totally fine with that. We’d much rather focus on finding great bottles than chasing a digital title.

So here’s our official campaign pitch: We’d much rather you just swing by the shop once this week, grab a bottle of real, unmanipulated w**e, and go enjoy your evening.
..But look, if you’re bored at your desk at 2 PM on a Tuesday and want to help us accidentally win a popularity contest, the voting link is right... ummm... nah, please don’t bother.

Siete Leguas Reposado Single Barrel French Oak.

As always, additive free!

This is crushed with Tahona, fermented in open-air stainless steel, and aged for 8 months in French Oak. Tahonas are the old volcanic wheels historically pulled by a donkey to crush the agave and squeeze out the juice. The real key with Tahona is that it doesnt shred apart the fibers like a roller mill does, and due to that it has lower levels of methanol, and a more rich and viscous natural agave sweetness. Of course, the process is more costly, and less efficient, but when Agave Matchmaker did a study some years back, Tahona crushed Tequilas, had an average of 6 points higher rating than roller mill from consumers. Process matters!
