Wow, we cannot give enough thanks to those who came out to shop this weekend. We are working hard to get pumpkins restocked for our next 3 festivals.

In the meantime we want to show our thanks by giving away two of our new raven mugs. These mugs were prototypes and differ slightly from the mugs we were selling this weekend.

CANCELLED: Mingo Covered Bridge Festival has been canceled due to flooding. We are so disappointed, but we will be making the best of this weekend. Join us at our Scenery Hill gift shop location to shop the stock we had planned for the festival.

Our little Bearcat is off to 1st grade today so I thought it was perfect timing to share one of my favorite moments from our Summer...

Gwennie had to accompany me to the shop many times over her summer vacation. There were days it was tough for her (both of us really) but there were also moments I wouldn't trade for anything. Here's one of them: Gwennie's first Westerwald idea.

I make magnets out of clay scraps. Gwennie very confidently came over during one of these days and started placing blobs of clay onto my cats by their ears. "Now they have bows".

I helped her refine the blobs and here is the finished product. If you like it, drop a comment for Gwennie on her first day of first grade!
