We were planning on being open through this Saturday but unfortunately Pennsylvania Lottery has informed us that our deactivation is going to happen tomorrow around 11 a.m. and we have been told we can’t reschedule. With no lottery after tomorrow morning it doesn’t make sense for us to remain open through Saturday. So tomorrow will be our last day.

We do have a bunch of inventory (snacks, soda, etc.) so if you’re interested in really good deals stop in tomorrow before we close at 6.

Thank you for all of your support over these last three years! It’s been a lot of fun and we will never forget it!

To our outstanding customers,

This is the last post we want to make, but unfortunately the time has come. We will be closing our doors for good on Saturday, March 30. These past three years have been absolutely amazing. We opened this store, trying to keep the legacy of Carl’s Newsstand alive and we have met so many amazing people who became customers and friends here at Patty Mac’s Daily Dose.

What makes it tough to make this announcement is that we truly feel we haven’t been just a place to buy your lotto and to***co, but a place to hang out — whether if it’s with a cup of coffee in the morning or during one of the great events here in downtown Sayre like the Christmas parade or street fair. We will miss seeing everyone and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We want to thank our amazing staff, including Sue who is a legend here at the newsstand. A big thank you to Rita, who has been our backbone these past three years, and Joan, who joined us recently but has been outstanding. Also thank you to Anthony who always stepped up for us and was a big help.

We want to thank our partners at Bradley’s Country Creamery for letting us sell their outstanding milk. Make sure to visit their farm store or places like Ammerman’s and continue to support them.

Finally, we want to thank all of you who supported us over these past three years. While we were hoping this post would come in a few decades, it has truly been an honor to run this store here, in the place we call home. Thank you for everything and we look forward to seeing everyone during these next couple weeks.

Vanilla today! Heading into the weekend with regular, vanilla, chocolate, and just a few cookies and cream. Strawberry is gone here, but I will do another batch early next week. Bryans meat cutting is stocked, as well as Ammerman’s, and Patty Mac’s Daily Dose. Happy weekend everyone!
