Q: The Country Store has become more than just a place to grab gas or coffee. What does being a gathering place in Saratoga mean to you?
A: We truly appreciate our customers and want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcome. It means a lot that people choose to gather here.

Q: What has changed the most about the store since you first became involved, and what has stayed the same?
A: We still have strong support from our local customers. Adding diesel was a big milestone and an investment in the future of the store and community. Our three employees have also been a huge part of making everything possible.

Q: Who is one customer—or a few customers—you can almost guarantee you’ll see regularly?
A: We have several regulars who come in for coffee, including a group of ladies who come Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also have regulars who stop in most mornings. We truly appreciate all of them.

Q: How does being located in a small Wyoming town affect how you run your business?
A: With only around 2,000 people, we rely heavily on locals and tourism. Business can change with the seasons, so you just have to adapt and weather the storms as they come. That’s part of being a small-town business.

Q: What is your go-to gas station or convenience store snack?
A: Poppi or Bloom soda, hard-boiled eggs, Doritos when we want to be a little naughty, and of course, soft serve! Another favorite is nachos with jalapeños and a Mexican Coke.

Q: Is there anything else you want people to know about The Country Store?
A: We just want to thank all of the locals for their support. We truly do appreciate it, and we would not be able to make it through the slow times without them, for real. These doors would be closed without that local support.

We really want to emphasize how much we appreciate our customers and staff. We genuinely care about everyone who walks through our door and appreciate their support, as well as our staff who shows up every day to help make it all possible.
