James & Sons Tobacconists: Purveyors of a Timeless Tradition in Saratoga Springs

James & Sons Tobacconists opened in an architecturally-significant Victorian-era building on historic Broadway in Saratoga Springs in 2007. Customers stop in to our store and get the sense of going back in time. Our walk-in cedar-lined humidor is filled with a finely-curated selection of premium hand-rolled ci**rs ranging from boutique to widely-sought-after well-known brands, gorgeous to***co pipes and exclusive blends of pipe to***co, and fine smoking accoutrements that set us apart as a distinctive, premier cigar shop.

Here’s how Cigar Aficionado executive editor Gordon Mott described his visit to our store: “I could tell immediately that the shop had been built by people who understood the joys of a great cigar. The humidor was filled to the brim with outstanding smokes; all the most sought after brands were there... The dark wood shelves and the big overstuffed leather chairs gave the feel of a real gentleman’s club, but the windows looking on the Broadway gave the place a open feel too.”

James & Sons’ Black Diamond Club offers members a relaxing, first-class smoking experience in our private member lounges on the building’s second floor overlooking Broadway and the grand four-star Adelphi Hotel. Membership grants the privilege of 24-hour year-round access to the English and Cuban smoking lounges, complete with personalized cedar humidor lockers, complimentary beverages, wireless broadband internet access, and a climate controlled environment that provides an oasis for comfortable smoking in the hot summer and cold winter seasons.

Given our high-quality reputation, we are the frequent site of in-store events from the several premium brands, including Ashton Ci**rs, Avo, Camacho, Fratello Ci**rs, Nat Sherman, Rocky Patel Premium Ci**rs, United Cigar Group, and Ventura Cigar Company, among others. Events offer special savings on featured brands and provide attendees the opportunity to learn more from brand representatives about the farming, blending, manufacturing and tasting notes, enabling every customer to find just the right cigar for their smoking preference.
