Nick is back—and this time, we're heading to Willamette Valley to explore the exceptional wines of Walter Scott.

Since its founding in 2008, Walter Scott has quickly risen to the top ranks of Oregon producers. Winemaker Ken Pahlow is celebrated for his precise, crystalline Chardonnays and elegant, complex Pinot Noirs, with a focus on expressing the character of individual vineyards.

Throughout the evening, Nick will guide us through six wines—three Chardonnays and three Pinot Noirs—showing how vineyard site, vintage, and winemaking shape these remarkable wines.

We will be Pouring:

La Combe Verte Chardonnay 2024
Cuvée Anne Chardonnay 2024
Freedom Hill Chardonnay 2024

Château Malherbe’s 2022 Un Vin Blanc du Sud is a beautifully textured, gastronomic white with ripe stone fruit, citrus, delicate florals, and a distinctive saline minerality that speaks to the estate’s coastal vineyards.

Château Malherbe is a family-owned, certified organic estate overlooking the Mediterranean near Bormes-les-Mimosas, crafting wines with a wonderful sense of place. This is Provence beyond rosé—elegant, layered, and made for the table. Our owner, Gina, just visited the estate this past July, and was blown away by the quality and percision of Malherbe.

The Un Vin Blanc 2022 is a beautiful bottle to enjoy now—and a wonderful introduction to one of our favorite estates in the South of France.
