My friend Gon Castro Balea of ROUTE 66 EXPERIENCE Spain stopped in this past Monday June 9th with his guests from Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, Mexico and Chile. Gon’s been traveling Route 66 since 2007 and has made over 40 + trips on the Route. He always brings a fun and energetic group with him and this group was no different. This group was the first to have pictures taken in front of our new Roadside Attraction signage. I tell everyone it’s the people you meet that will make your journey the most memorable, I hope that in some way I made their trip memorable as they made my day fun and memorable. I enjoy what I do and I thank Gon for making Gasoline Alley Classics a part of trip getting their kicks on Route 66.

ATTENTION : Due to the upcoming weather conditions we have “Rescheduled “ the Cruise In to Thursday June 19th 6-8pm. Join us for an evening of fun with fellow car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts. We’ll have Muffin Tops - A Bakery selling her delicious fried pies and we’ll have Crumble Stack serving burgers, fries and shakes. Bring your “Kool” rides, appetite and lawn chairs and enjoy the evening with us.

On Tuesday I got a surprise visit from Zdenek Jurasek of the Czech Route 66 Association (Česká asociace Route 66)who I’ve been following for quite some time. This was the first time we’ve met and he brought his guests by Gasoline Alley Classics to check out all the Kool stuff we have on Route 66. It was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to seeing you again soon when getting your kicks on Route 66.

Noddy, our friend and tour guide from Kiwis On Route 66 Tours of New Zealand, and his group of 33 guests, including Australians, arrived in style driving 17 Mustang convertibles at Gasoline Alley Classics. Their arrival coincided with the departure of Wolfgang of Route 66 Germany and his guests. We were delighted to have a full house today! Thank you, Noddy, for including us in your Route 66 tour.

Wolfgang, with Route 66 Germany brought his motorcycle guests from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria to visit Gasoline Alley Classics today, Wednesday, while getting their Kicks riding Route 66. This was the first time for his guests to experience Route 66. Wolfgang's groups are always a delight to meet. Thank you for allowing us to share in your experiences on Route 66.

On a day we're typically closed, Monday, we received a text at 6:45 AM inquiring about accommodating a motor coach tour bus of guests from Michigan and the UK, and what was our response? Absolutely. I met the guides Kelly & Ed of Countryside Tours, Inc. and we gave them and their guests an Oklahoma welcome and the full nickel tour of Gasoline Alley Classics including the Koolest restroom tour too….no charge! We enjoyed having you and look forward to seeing you again soon on your next trip getting your Kicks on Route 66!

Just a reminder we’ll be having another Cruise In on Route 66 next Friday May 30th as we’ll also have the Prewar Pileup Reliability Run ‘Kool’ rides of the 1930’s & 1940’s joining us. Here’s some of the Kool rides we had at the last Cruise In. Come and join us, we’ll have Muffin Tops - A Bakery with delicious fried pies & Crumble Stack serving Burgers & Fries. We’ll be open from 10am-9pm for Sapulpa Main Street’s Construction Crawl & the Cruise In.

Next Friday May 30th in downtown Sapulpa we have events going on for everyone. There’s the Construction Crawl and Bourbon and Bones but there’s also a Cruise In happening at Gasoline Alley Classics with the Prewar Pileup Reliability Run Hot Rods of the 1930’s & 1940’s along with all kinds of other “KOOL” rides to look at. Sapulpa has something for everyone that evening. Ladies, bring the men with you and shop while the men hang out with all the “Kool” kids on Route 66!

Just one week away, our next Construction Crawl will be held next Friday, May 30th, from 5pm-9pm! We can't wait to see you in downtown Sapulpa! There are two events that evening, drop your significant others off at the Chamber "Bourbon & Bones" tournament, while you and your friends have a wonderful ladies night out! Shopping, dinning, and fun all evening long! It's going to be a great night in downtown Sapulpa, we hope to see you there !
