Nose; the best way to describe it (chocolate covered raspberry

Palate; vanilla, brown sugar, dark oak. Heavy oak that char 4 delivered that oak balance with cinnamon and cherry. The cherry reminds of a good homemade cherry fruit pie. 😋

The finish where it’s at for me, very long and full-bodied. This Green River drinks like a higher proof at its age, more like 140+. I’m impressed by the way this pick finishes. As a big fan of the finish, I normally give 4 points out of 10 for the finish, and 4 points out of 10 for the palate and then, 2 out of 10 points for the nose. Lately I been leaning to 5 for the finish. 3.5 for the palate and then 1.5 for the nose.

Always remember. 👉Don’t limit yourself to just few brands, in another word DON’T BE A TATER AND ONLY LOOK FOR TATER BOTTLES👈 You might discover other brands that really impress you.

Overall. I really appreciate how this whiskey matches its palate and finish. I really can’t wait to see how it will open up over time. A good whiskey should have a balance between its flavors and finish🥃
