Founded in 2012 by Michael Traverso, we are dedicated to the education and promotion of craft spirit

Michael has spent his entire life in the food and beverage business. At a young age he swept the floors and stocked the shelves of this family’s legendary 90 year old Traverso’s Gourmet Foods in Sonoma County, California. Michael has held marketing and sales positions with iconic Russian River Winery, Williams Selyem, and currently holds a position in Senior Brand Management at Wilson Daniels, the

Napa Valley based stalwart sales and marketing company. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Sonoma County Harvest Fair and Sonoma County Food & Wine Center as well as visionary role co-founding the Sonoma County Single Malt Society. He has also served as Adjunct Professor at the Santa Rosa Junior College Wine Business Studies Program. Michael holds a Business Marketing degree from the University of Southern California as well as a Level 1 Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He resides in Healdsburg, California with his wife and two young children.
