A customer brought in the Palo Cortado Sherry from his personal cellar. WOW! Was it amazing. Butterscotch, cinnamon, fig, clove. Amazing wine. Best as we could tell it was from the 1970's....55 years old!!

Come in on Saturday, August 15th 12p - 3p to enjoy the air conditioning, have a hot dog and taste some wines. We've done this event for several years now and it is always a lot of fun and a one of our most popular tastings. We steam the hot dogs in wine to plump them and then put them on a grill. We usually go through at least 100 hot dogs.
We will again be raffling a mystery case of wine worth over $350 for $20 a ticket, 3 tickets for $50. We also will be raffling off some wine accessories. Buy one or more bottles that are $20 or more and you get a ticket for our "SWAG" table. Swag tickets will be pulled at random throughout the event for opportunities to get a swag item.
This is a great and fun event that should not be missed.

Sunday Dinner - Oven roasted pork shoulder with roasted carrots and potatoes.  Paired with a wine from my cellar from Jory Vineyards that they don’t make anymore.  1997 Sangre del Vez (it means the BLOOD OF ELVIS). I expected this 29 year old 100% Carignan to be dead in the bottle, but it was awesome and paired well with the pork and vegetables.
