We are about to host our final public tasting event in San Jose, CA. It has been a great 5 years running this business. It seems like yesterday was the start of our humble beginnings organizing our first ever event focused on cognac. Over half of the attendees to the event were our friends and family, and it was one of the most memorable moments in our lives.

It is so great to see that over the years that just by sharing our passion we have gathered such a loyal following of amazing people just looking to do exactly what we do, expanding our horizons in the endless world of fine spirits. We want to personally thank everyone who has supported us over the years. Whether you have only attended one event or all of them, we will always be grateful.

Moving forward both of the owners have taken on some exciting projects that unfortunately forces this business to enter hibernaton (for now at least). We are both excited for our new projects, and some of those projects will be shared at this final event (one project in particular is not too far removed from the activities of the night *wink *wink).

So we hope you can join us as we celebrate the past 5 years with our last fine spirits tasting event on Thursday, March 2nd 2017. We will be featuring a flight of some of our favorite spirits we have discovered over the years. We plan on having this flight be the most unique tasting flight we have ever presented.

Last sip review! St George Spirits' Dry Rye Reposado Gin. A rye based gin finished in oak creates one of my favorite sipping gins out there. Heavy herbaceous notes on the nose along with lemon and additional subtleties of rye vanilla and oak come together to create an intriguing and mysterious entrance into a huge palate. Initial sips of gin like flavors with juniper, anise, and citrus with a finish that lasts for minutes allowing you to witness the unique process through a roller coaster of oak, sweetness, and subtle spice. Smoothest 99 proof gin I have ever experienced and I'm very sad this is the last of the bottle.
