This GivingTuesday, we’re standing with WEIRA.

WEIRA a Northern California non-profit that provides free, culturally tailored case management for post-Soviet immigrant women facing crisis (domestic violence, difficult divorces, recent immigration).

WEIRA is volunteer-run and has already supported 400+ women from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and beyond – offering safety planning, emotional support, legal help (including attorney-led cases in some), and career coaching. Women arrive frightened and tangled in fear; they leave with safety, confidence, strength, and independence.

We support WEIRA because safety and dignity should never depend on a paycheck.

Goal: $150,000 to sustain programs and provide partial pay for key staff who deliver them.
