In the tradition of the diggers- a legendary group of do gooders in Haight Ashbury in the 1960’s Distractions becomes a free store today from 11am until it is all gone.
While the store is very picked over please come by and take up to 5 things free… lots of vintage clothes, incenses, buttons, some raver clothes and jewelry left… all free today as a thank you to the community !

Well it is official… I am retiring on October 31st after 47 years of serving the Haight Ashbury! 1/2 off sale starts September 8th until all merchandise is gone or October 31st. Hope to see you all again before I am gone! Thanks for 47 years!

Three more months until I retire! Please come in and say hi/goodbye. It’s been an incredible 47 year adventure but looks like Distactions will permanently close on October 31st unless I miraculously find a buyer.
The retirement sale starts September 5th after Burning Man and all will be half off until the shelves are bare!
