Nicolas Rossignol is a fifth-generation winemaker who has been shaping the future of Burgundy winemaking since 1994. After studying at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, he honed his craft at prestigious domaines like Joseph Voillot, Vieux Télégraphe, Boschendal in South Africa, and Château La Cardonne in Bordeaux before launching his own domaine in 1997. Today, he produces wines from top vineyards in Volnay and Pommard, practicing uncertified organic farming with biodynamic influences and a meticulous, ever-evolving approach to vinification.
Critic Neil Martin wrote in 2019, “Now, this is a winemaker who deserves much higher status and perhaps that is just a matter of time.”
