+ Patrick and Karoline Uccelli tend their biodynamic farm with utmost passion and care — healthy soils and biodiversity are their guiding principles, leading to super pure and expressive wines.
+ Elisabetta Foradori needs no introduction as one of Italy’s leading mavens of biodynamics and reigning queen of the Dolomites — but her lovely children have taken up the mantle just as graciously. Lots of new wines in from la famiglia — including some cool mags!— and we’ll be pouring the Lezer, Yorgo, and Manzoni Bianco this Thursday!

This Thursday, June 19th! Join us for an epic Friuli vs Slovenia showdown 🥊… What’s in a name, or a border? Friuli, Italy’s most north-eastern region, is indeed (now) a different country from neighboring Slovenia, but of course vines don’t know the difference! Sharing a cultural — and viticultural — heritage, the two regions grow many of the same grapes and produce similar wines, but we thought we’d really put their proximity to the test. Emma just returned from a trip to Friuli and dear friend Chantelle Bourdeaux represents the stellar Stekar estate in Solvenia, so tonight we’ll go head to head with 4 varieties seen through distinct though not so different lenses... 8 wines total, featuring Stekar, Edi Kante, San Lurins, Sepcogna, and Il Carpino!
