Summer is finally ramping up here in the city; St. George has crafted the perfect late-summer gin for those hot and humid days looming. St. George repeatedly proves their production quality to be above expected standards. Valley gin is a delicate floral expression that imparts scents of freshly bloomed orange trees. The palate is composed of fresh citrus notes, gentle hints of vanilla, and black pepper, and finished with some pineyness.
Although it can be enjoyed on its own over ice or neat, this gin goes above and beyond in a gin spritz!
Try this recipe;
Juice of 1 lime
3 to 6 mint leaves
A single tablespoon of sugar
1 ½ Oz of St. George Valley Gin
Your favorite sparkling wine (Although we recommend Adami Brut Prosecco Garbel!)
Muddle the juice, mint, and sugar together, then transfer to a shaker with your gin – shake! Strain the mixture over a chilled glass and then finish with a splash of your preferred sparkling. Garnish with mint and a twist of lime; enjoy!
