I am delighted to invite you to a special evening at Vino Rosso Wine Bar & Kitchen in SF, on June 16th at 6:00 PM, where I will be sharing some of my favorite dishes from my hometown in Abruzzo, Italy.
Our menu will feature:
Antipasto
A selection of traditional cheeses and cured meats from Arsita, a charming mountain town nestled in the foothills of the Gran Sasso in Abruzzo.
Primo
Risotto infused with the renowned saffron of L’Aquila, one of Italy’s most treasured culinary products and a Slow Food Presidia item dedicated to preserving this exceptional local heritage.
Secondo
Grilled Lamb Arrosticini, the iconic skewers that are a beloved specialty throughout Abruzzo.
Dolce
Pizza Dolce, a traditional celebratory dessert that brings back cherished memories of my childhood and was reserved for life's most special occasions.
Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines from Abruzzo, showcasing the flavors and traditions of my homeland.
