San Francisco Brewcraft Update!

After leaving the space that the Brewcraft has occupied for almost 30 years, we weren't really sure what the next steps were going to be. All we knew was that we would find a way to climb back and create a space for Home Brewing and for the Love of the Craft. We do want to thank the community and everyone who has come through our humble little shop for their support over the years.

Right now, we still don't have a retail space, BUT...We are recommending that folks go to:

Oak Barrel Winecraft for ingredients and equipment
MG Draught for Draught Expertise and parts
Sparky's Balloons for CO2 Tank Swaps.

And as always, feel free to message us here or at [email protected] for brewing questions.

Hey! GREAT NEWS! We’re now open Saturday from 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM PST and Wednesday by APPOINTMENT. If things improve with Covid-19 we will add more hours. We can also mail stuff within the US , so that’s always an option. We’re taking the pandemic extremely seriously and the safety of our customers and staff is absolute #1 priority. You’ll notice a much more physically distanced shop layout and please remember to wear a mask! Come on in and get brewing and don’t forget our virtual online class begins the first Monday in March! CALL OR DM for tickets.

Update!!!!! Thank you so much everyone For your patience we are excited to announce that we are now open Saturdays from 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM. We will also be open on Wednesdays for appointments, so if you have a time that works for you just DM us here or email [email protected]. We have completely reimagined the shop layout with physical distancing at the forefront of our concerns! If you have any questions or would like a specific product, feel free to reach out. We are excited to weather the storm coming out of this long long break and we are ready to keep the homebrewing community afloat with our modes but long-standing efforts. Thank You too so much for reading this, and following us and continuing to support the longest running homebrew shop in San Francisco.

We will also be launching a monthly brewing class, done virtually of course over zoom. The first one will begin in early March, if you have any questions or would like to sign up shoot us a message or email.

Hello dedicated friends family old and new of San Francisco Brewcraft - SF’s longest running Homebrew Shop. We know it’s been a while since you heard from us , but that’s all about to change. We are excited and thrilled to announce we will be opening back up with limited capacity starting with weekends and a new socially distanced store remodel/layout and can’t wait to show you. Times have been extremely tough for the Brewcraft family as we’ve had to sustain paying our rent without a shop to sell product for nearly six months - despite this, we are finally in a financial place to be able to stock the shop with some fresh ingredients for folks interested. Many of our costumers have spoken and they want homebrewing supplies, and we finally have the means to open back up, beginning with weekend hours and possible appointments in the future.

Stay tuned as we will be updating people with new hours and our reopening date. For now I’d there’s specific items you would like to order or inquire about . Please get in touch.

We will also be launching a Go Fund Me to help us reimburse the high cost of sustaining the shop throughout our prolonged closure as well as make some improvements with the space.

We will also be launching public and private classes monthly, these will be done via Zoom starting in November.

We will have more info soon but for now it’s looking like Saturdays and Sundays, are going to be the days but stay tuned for more info soon! If you’re wondering what new product we will have in feel free to DM! See everybody soon !

We’re here until six today and have a pretty packed shop! Fresh liquid yeast 12 and 22oz bottles , bunch of hip varietals even some - also co2 exchanges are going quickly so if you want one better come in today or tomorrow. Tomorrow we’re here noon-6 and then Monday - noon-6. Say hi to Barbara and Louis our fearless leaders!

We now are carrying Propper Starter condensed wort cans for yeast starters. We’re going to be brewing with some for the starter for our next brewing class coming up in Feb! We’re open until six today and NORMAL HOURS during the super bowl noon-6pm tomorrow. Come on in!
