This Saturday, we’ll be pouring a great selection of red Bordeaux Blends from Bordeaux, Bolgheri, Tuscany, Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley. A "Bordeaux Blend" is a red blend from the primary red Bordeaux varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and Malbec

We will also be pouring an optional high-end Bordeaux Blend.

Saturday tasting hours are 10:30am to 3:00pm. If the wines have not run out by 3:00pm on Saturday, they will continue to be poured until 5:15pm.

The Bordeaux Blend tasting will not be available on Friday.

Six Tastes: $30

All the wines will be available for purchase until sold out.

Bring some food as these wines show better with food.

The tasting on June 21 will be "Great Summer Whites"

Cabernet Sauvignon - May 30 & 31

This Friday and Saturday, we’ll be pouring an outstanding selection of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley and the Walla Walla Valley in Washington. The selections will include several Cabernets that are new to the store. Four will be from Napa Valley with two from Washington including an outstanding new wine from Washington.

We will also be pouring an optional higher-end Cabernet
Sauvignon.

Normal Friday tasting hours are 3:30pm to 6pm. Saturday tasting hours are 10:30am to 3:00pm. If the wines have not run out by 3:00pm on Saturday, they will continue to be poured until 5:15pm.

Six Tastes: $25

All the wines will be available for purchase until sold out.

We will be pouring six Burgundies from Bouchard Pere & Fils selected recently at a trade tasting of approximately 30 Bouchard Pere & Fils red and white Burgundies including a half dozen of the top Grand Crus. We selected four 1er Cru reds (2018, 2019 & 2022) and one Village white (2022) and one 1er Cru white (2022). 

These reds and whites were tasted side-by-side with Grand Crus such Chambertin Clos de Beze, Echezeaux, Le Corton and Corton Charlemagne and the quality of some of the 1er Crus was as good and were significantly better values.  All drink very well now but will also age very well.  With the recent increases in Burgundy prices, inventories have backed up and some are now being discounted and are all pre-tariff.  This is likely to be one of the last opportunities to procure Burgundies at a reasonable price. The 2023s will not only be impacted by tariffs but also by the 2024 vintage which was problematic with losses ranging from 60% to 100% due to late spring frosts.

NEW: Friday & Saturday Tastings

We will be pouring a lineup of our most popular Loire Valley wines. The lineup will include three reds and three whites including, Chinon, Bourgueil, Sancerre, Savennieres and Vouvray.

We will also be pouring an optional higher-end Bourgueil�that you don’t want to miss.

Normal *Friday* tasting hours are 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Normal *Saturday* tasting hours are 10:30am to 3:00pm. If the wines have not run out by 3:00pm, they will continue to be poured until 5:15pm. Prices include tax.

***Vintage Wines Ltd Wine Bar News***

At the request of customers that cannot make the Saturday Tastings, we are opening the weekly themed tasting to Friday afternoon starting May 23, 1025. We have also been getting requests for special, “higher end” tastings. As such, we will also be offering at least one special, higher end tasting per month. The format for the weekly Friday tasting will be the same as on Saturday. For the special tastings, the tasting would be limited in number and paid reservations would be required on our website, over the phone or in person at the store. These tastings will be capped at 12 people for a flight with 2 oz pours. If there is sufficient demand, a second flight could be added dependent on wine availability.

This Saturday’s (May 17) tasting of Southern and Northern Rhone Reds will also be available on Friday, May 16.

Chardonnay. We will be pouring a lineup of some of our most popular California Chardonnays. The lineup will include Chardonnays from Russian River, Carneros, Sonoma Coast and Sonoma that will cover a full range of styles.

We will also be pouring an optional higher-end Chardonnay that you don't want to miss.

White Burgundy - Feb 1

This Saturday we will be pouring a selection of White Burgundies. We will start with two 1er Cru Chablis. Next will be a Bourgogne from Dominique Lafon (yes, that Dominique Lafon) and a Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Beaune from Etienne Sauzet. Lastly, we will include what is likely our most popular White Burgundy, a Rully from Domaine Mia followed by a very limited Saint-Romain from Etienne Sauzet. The wines from Etienne Sauzet are so allocated they rarely see the floor but we were able to get enough to include them in this tasting. The same is true regarding the wines from Dominique Lafon. In a recent review by Robert Parker, he made the following comment;

"Dominique Lafon is on fire, in a zone, on top of his game. He’s never made better wines, and he improves with each passing vintage"

An optional 7th wine will be available to taste from the Wine Bar as well and will be;

2022 Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres 1er Cru
