Thank you so much to everyone.

The Texas Backgammon Championships was a huge success.

This could not happen without our incredible international staff. We think this the best staff in the world -- Executive Direct Jesper Carllson (Sweden), Jason Grandstedt (Sweden), Justin Nowell (USA/UK), Tobias Hellwag (Germany), Remy Davenport (USA), Kaitlyn Speciale (USA), Bertram Seiferheld (Denmark), Jason and Bri Dordel (USA), and Mate Feher (Hungary). This team will also make the Gammon Geaux New Orleans tournament September 8-13 another stellar, destination event.

Tremendous credit goes to Tara Mendicino for the incredible production associated with five simultaneous live streams allowing virtual attendance and viewing by backgammon players around the globe. We have already had almost 11,000 views of the Finals since Sunday. Expert commentary by Justin Nowell, Tobias Hellwag, and guests provided great instruction and entertainment to all. Bertram Seiferheld and Jason Granstedt were incredible XG live transcribers.

Many thanks to the beautifully renovated The Gunter Hotel. Also, our partners in the HOF and USBGF Awards Dinner -- the Buckhorn Saloon and Don Strange Catering -- made for a very memorable event. Similarly, the Hotel Valencia and Pinkerton's Barbecue made the Super Bowl party in the Presidential Suite overlooking the Riverwalk a superb event enjoyed by all.

Tara and I are humbled by the tremendous support we have had from players and others through the history of this event dating back to first Texas Backgammon Championships in January/February 2013. The USBGF/ABT have been invaluable partners.

We can hardly wait to host everyone again next year in San Antonio -- and in New Orleans in September.
