To clarify and correct misinformation being circulated by some. There will be both Gammon Geaux New Orleans and Texas Backgammon Championships tournaments annually going forward. We look forward to seeing each of you in New Orleans in September and in San Antonio next February.

The venue for the 2025 Gammon Geaux Backgammon Championships is the chic and trendy Kimpton Hotel Fontenot, located at the intersection of Poydras Street and Tchoupitoulas Street at 501 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, LA.

We are located close to everything New Orleans has to offer — 1 block from the half-billion-dollar renovation of Caesars New Orleans Casino, 3 blocks from the French Quarter, and steps from some of city’s most famous restaurants such as Emeril’s and Compère Lapin.
