RADIKON = ICONIC ORANGE WINE = DOPE and SUPERLimited
the literal definition of dope and super limited, or
An extraordinary, high-demand wine is allocated, meaning we can only get a little bit. We got a case of each and they’re here till they’re not!
Super trendy right now, but not new. They’ve existed since the dawn of wine. Think the color 🧡 not the fruit 🚫🍊. Just like red wine, white wine and rose wine there is “orange” wine. Also know as amber wine or their literal definition of skin contact whites, this long forgotten & ancient technique goes back 8,000 years.
Famous for their incredible orange wines Radikon is a truly iconic natural wine producer from the north eastern region of Italy of Friuli, right on the border of Slovenia. Originally inspired by the equally well respected neighboring winemaker Gravner, these wines are truly special and are seen by many wine critics to be some of the finest orange wines in the world.
Radikon began making wine in 1979, but didn’t start experimenting with natural wine until 1995. They shifted to extended maceration techniques for all their whites and consciously committed to producing ancestral-style wines. We can thank the Radikon family for helping bring back this style of winemaking. 🥂🧡🍷
